FAQ

  • Where are lessons held?

All lessons are held in the comfort of your own home. I travel to you, which makes scheduling convenient and ensures you have access to your own instrument for practice.

  • What ages do you teach?

I work with students ages 4 through adult.

  • Do I need a piano at home to start lessons?

Yes. A well-maintained acoustic piano or a full-size digital piano with weighted keys is recommended to support proper technique and sound development. If you have any questions about that, please contact me

  • How long are lessons?

I offer 30-minute, 45-minute, and 60-minute lessons, depending on the student’s age, level, and goals.

  • What styles of music do you teach?

My teaching mainly covers classical, as learning the principles necessary to play effectively translate well to other genres. My lessons carry an emphasis on technique, while also introducing theory, and improvisation to create well-rounded musicianship. Lessons are tailored to each student’s interest, skill level and capacity.

    Rates start at:

    $160/monthly for 30 Minute Lessons

    $220/monthly for 45 Minute Lessons

You may also enroll a young sibling (age 4-6) in a 15 Minute Add-On Lesson, which is $80/Monthly.

  • Do you offer performance opportunities?

Yes. Students participate in a professionally organized recital each year, as well as other optional performance events.

Simply fill out the inquiry form on my website or text/call (203) 903-1104. I’ll respond within 48 hours to discuss availability and scheduling.

  • Can parents sit in on lessons?

Parents are welcome to observe, especially for younger students, as it helps with practice support at home.
